More about Landscape Structures
Landscape Structures designs better playgrounds that welcome all ages and abilities. They are a recognized gathering space for communities and offer the most innovative play experiences. Wondering how you can find a playground near you? Head to their site and do a quick search for one in your area.
We found several within a few minutes driving distances, and since the boys are home for summer break, it is the perfect opportunity to get outside!
Check out this inspiring video by Landscape Structures on the importance of play from a kids perspective:
In addition to physical benefits, outdoor play offers cognitive and social benefits too. Kids often meet new friends, build relationships, learn how to communicate, and more. As pointed out in the video above, play is everything to kids!
I love watching my kids build upon their skills and have fun. Sometimes I’ll bring a magazine, or catch up online as they play. You can even pack a lunch and make it a picnic at the park, which kids often enjoy.
I chose this Landscape Structures playground nearby because it offered a sunshade, which is super important to beat the heat in Florida. It kept most of the structure in the shade which was convenient and kept the kids playing longer. I also noticed that it has a space for adults too. So while your kids are burning energy, you can hop on a stepper or elliptical and get a quick workout in. Your location may or may not have these same benefits, but it’s nice that some do.
The next time you’re looking for something to do with the kids, check out Landscape Structures playgrounds, and don’t forget to watch the inspiring video!
