This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Manwich. All opinions are 100% mine.
Growing up in the 80’s there was rarely a week where I did not have sloppy joes from the school cafeteria or at home. Sloppy Joes is definitely a favorite meal of mine.
Whenever I think of sloppy joes I think of the cafeteria lady in Billy Madison, and yes I like mine extra sloppy. 🙂
Now that I am a dad of two adorable boys I definitely have them eating Hunt’s Manwich. In fact we have started a little tradition here at the Hay House, and that is Manwich Monday. You’ve probably heard of Taco Tuesday, but let me tell you after a full day at the office, I tend to drag when I get home, and this meal is so quick and easy to make that Manwich Monday is becoming the norm.
Hunt’s Manwich is a hearty sauce with a sweet and tangy taste and a brand that has been a household name since 1969. All you need to do is cook up a pound of ground beef or ground turkey (to be extra healthy) then add a can full of your favorite Manwich. Make sure that you heat thoroughly, and put it on a bun of your choice and serve.
The Kid-Stopping Power of Manwich makes meals a messy-licious treat to be enjoyed with both hands – giving moms and dads an easy, quality ingredient to bring the family’s attention back to mealtime and away from everyday distractions.
There are many ways to make the perfect Manwich, but the way that I prefer them is the Manwich Mini Burger on a Hawaiian Bread roll. I’ve included the simple recipe below:
Ingredients:
1 can Hunt’s Manwich Original Sloppy Joe Sauce
1 pound ground chuck
Sliced tomatoes
Romaine Lettuce
Sliced cheddar cheese
1 package Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
Directions:
Cut the Hawaiian roll in half. Once you have cooked up your beef and added the Manwich of your choice, take a large spoon full of the sloppy joe mixture and put it on the roll. Add a slice of tomato, lettuce, and a slice of cheddar cheese. Place the other half of the roll on top and enjoy!
Hunt’s Manwich comes in three delicious flavors Original, Bold, and Thick and Chunky. If you are craving a Manwich then head to your local grocery store and pick up a can of this family friendly staple. It’s a meatless sauce so it’s great on sandwiches or even pasta. This sure looks good, and we haven’t had sloppy joe’s in way too long. I need to pick up a stash of this for those nights there is nothing to make and you want some good comfort food!

I have to get into doing this again! I have a question, what kind of sides would you eat with it?

I love Manwich Sloppy Joes, I always have at least 2 cans on stand by in my pantry. I’ve never seen the Bold Taste in my supermarket yet but would love to try that one.

So nice to see Dad play a role in healthy eats for the family. I also like the idea of using ground turkey thanks for the added touch.
