My family and I recently visited Medieval Times in Orlando, Florida. To say that the boys had an amazing time is an understatement. From beginning to end, Medieval Times Orlando dinner show puts on a thrilling show featuring jousting, sword fights, horsemanship, and so much more!
Medieval Times Orlando Dinner Show
The live show takes guests back in time to the 11th Century where they are encouraged to cheer for one of six “Knights of the Realm”, named after historic regions of medieval Spain.
The guests of the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is assigned a section of the castle inspired arena to represent. We were seated in the yellow section and cheered on our Yellow Knight throughout the show.
Lord Chancellor introduces the audience to Princess Catalina, King Carlos and the Knights then leads an elaborate procession of all the King’s loyal subjects.
After the opening, guests will witness intricate battles with authentic weaponry and enhanced armor, which grab the audience’s attention from the moment they sit down. The Yellow Knight had quite the sense of humor as he teased one of the guests while offering her his yellow sash.
We rooted on our Yellow Knight and were so happy to see him win the final battle against the invader, The Herald of the North. Here he is being dragged out of the arena.
While enjoying the show guests feast on a utensil-free meal. The menu includes Tomato Bisque, Focaccia Bread with Olive Oil & Seasoning, Oven Roasted Chicken, BBQ Spare Ribs, Herb-Basted Potato Split into Quarters, Braided Apple Strudel, Beverages and Coffee.
The meal is delicious and is rightly called a “feast”. Thankfully they do have to-go boxes handy!
We had such a wonderful time at the show and it was so fun cheering on our Yellow Knight! Medieval Times is truly an experience to remember and absolutely family friendly! I highly recommend seeing the show.
Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament has several locations including Georgia, California, Illinois and even Canada to name a few. Guests can purchase tickets online or by calling 1 (866) 543-9637.
