Now available on Netflix is a brand new series for young fans – Dreamworks Dragons Rescue Riders! The series opens a brand new chapter in the award-winning How to Train Your Dragon franchise.
Dreamworks Dragons Rescue Riders
Set in the world of DreamWorks Dragons, follow the adventures of twins, Dak and Leyla, who because they were raised by dragons, share a unique ability to communicate with them. The brother and sister lead a team of five adorable young dragons, Winger, Summer, Cutter and Burple with whom they spend their days rescuing other dragons, and helping the people in their adopted town of Huttsgalor.
The show features the voice talents of Nicolas Cantu (The Amazing World of Gumball, Sofia The First) as “Dak,” who is in charge of training the Rescue Riders and Brennley Brown (The Voice, Sofia The First) as “Leyla,” Dak’s twin who is a whiz on all things dragons. Voicing the dragons are Marsai Martin (Little, Black-ish) as “Aggro,” Zach Callison (Steven Universe, The Goldbergs) as “Winger,” Skai Jackson (Jessie, Bunk’d) as “Summer, ” Noah Bentley (Adam Ruins Everything) as “Burple,” Andre Robinson (Dragons: Race to the Edge, Niko and the Sword of Light) as “Cutter.”
As long-time fans of the How to Train Your Dragon series – we were beyond excited to get a sneak peek at the 14 episode series on Netflix. As expected, we are loving the new series and enjoy seeing the teamwork together to solve missions on each episode. There’s plenty of fun and adventure for the whole family to enjoy the show.

I actually emailed SpinMaster because my two kids (almost 4 & almost 7) are OBSESSED with this show and their birthdays are in July. Unfortunately, they won’t be around before their bday but SpinMaster said they’re planning to release the figures and toys in the fall!! Woo!
