Neutrogena Naturals Review

I am a skin care junkie! My bathroom is never in short supply of an assortment of products. Recently I received a huge bundle of Neutrogena products to sample. I couldn’t wait to dig in and try them all!

So because there are waaaay too many products to review in one post, I’ll break it down into a few posts over the next couple of months. 🙂

I decided to try the Neutrogena Naturals line first. I am environmentally friendly in many areas of my life and I appreciated that the line was made of natural bionutrients.

Here’s how Neutrogena describes the bionutrients process:

I am obsessed with lip balm. I have a tube stashed everywhere including the car, diaper bag, purse, computer desk, night stand, bathroom….yea the list goes on. My Dad thinks I have a “condition”, but I don’t think it’s a crime to want healthy, smooth lips. Right?

Neutrogena Naturals lip balm is made with Vitamin E, nature’s primary antioxidant, providing a nourishing boost that soothes and protects your skin. It is 100% naturally derived and the packaging is even 100% recycled paper! It has a nice light scent and keeps my lips super smooth. I really love it.

One thing that drives me nuts is that I still have acne issues. I’m no longer a teen so what gives? I usually get a flare up about once a month around my chin area. Thankfully, it’s nothing extreme, but it’s consistent, and annoying.

I was interested to see how Neutrogena Naturals Acne Foaming Scrub and Cream Cleanser would measure up. Both products are made with a natural ingredient called, Wintergreen which is naturally-derived salicylic acid that treats and helps prevent acne and blackheads.

Here’s what Neutrogena mentions about the Acne Foaming Scrub & Acne Cream Cleanser:

Powerful naturally-derived salicylic acid penetrates down into pores to treat breakouts and help prevent new ones from forming. Exfoliating microbeads sweep away excess oil, dirt, and dead skin cells to soften skin.

I decided to alternate between the scrub and cream, using one formula per day. I loved the smell of the cleansers and more importantly the effectiveness of keeping my skin clean, and preventing less breakouts.

After cleaning my face each night, I used Neutrogena Naturals Multi-Vitamin Night Cream. Again the packaging was created with 100% recycled paper, plus the product is 97% naturally derived. The night cream includes ingredients like inca inchi oil and yerba mate tea leaf.

Here’s what Neutrogena mentions about the Multi-Vitamin Night Cream:

Nourishes skin with vitamins B, C, E and anti-oxidant omega bionutrients. This moisturizing cream is clinically proven to boost skin’s defense against dullness and roughness, leaving it naturally radiant, healthier and younger looking today and in the future.

I definitely saw a difference in my skin’s tone and felt it had a healthier glow. It was non-greasy too, which is a BIG plus.

Overall, I can’t get enough of the Neutrogena Naturals line. It’s effective, and earth friendly! And again, if you don’t have a product that smells pleasant, it will be a turn-off for people. Neutrogena got this line right with the sweet, light smells from nature. Shop for Neutrogena Naturals online or at Target, Wal-Mart, and other fine retailers.
