How to play Charades:

Charades is a classic game night choice because nearly every party guest can play! It’s fast and easy to play too.

Divide your guests into equal teams. It can be as many teams as you’d like, depending on the number of party guests. Players take turns acting out the word on the game card – without speaking or making any noise! You’ll want to remind your guests that the Charades cards will be NYE-themed so they’ll want to guess words that go with the party theme.

Once the player selects a word, they stand in front of the teams and act out the word. All players yell out words they think might be right. The first team to guess correctly gets a point. Now a player from another team acts out a word, and so on until all charades cards have been used. The team with the most points wins!

What you’ll need:

• The Charades printable game cards cut out and placed in a hat or bowl for players to draw out of.
• Pen and paper for scorekeeping
• A timer to keep track of playing time (typically 60-90 seconds per turn) Most phones have a timer option.
