Dieting is not easy when you are sick. You kind of lose your mojo, per say. This week we also had a party at the house, and went out to eat as a family, so yes, I do confess: I cheated on my diet this week. I could not pass up chocolate covered marshmallows and Cold Stone Ice Cream. However, when one cheats they have to make up for it somewhere. With Nutrisystem, they suggest 30 minutes of daily activity. My workouts of choice are cardio DVDs, weight lifting, or walking on my treadmill, while watching a movie. Instead of doing thirty minutes on the treadmill I would do an hour to make up for the extra carbs.
One feature of the Nutrisystem my way plan that I really appreciated was the Eating Out Guide. This guide helps you make wise choices on the go. It provides you with the best options from the top 30 family restaurants and fast food chains. Some of the popular eateries include family favorites like Olive Garden and Chili’s and fast food joints like McDonalds and Burger King. Come on, what is not to like? A weight loss program that helps you pick healthy choices at McDonalds. How cool is that! I did try the Lighter Choice 6 oz. Classic Sirloin at Chili’s and was very thankful for the guide’s suggestion.
I just got my 2nd month of food delivered from Nutrisystem and am really happy to have my frozen desserts again. Maybe that will help me resist Cold Stone next time. Check out my past week results, and stay tuned every Sunday for my latest update.

Even though you cheated alittle, the guilt will get you back on track!! Did not know that the fast food chains worked along with this diet plan! That’s good to know, we can not be in the kitchen all the time!! Wishing you lots of success and hope you reach your goal!

Eating out occasionally helps me stay on track when I’m watching what I eat. It feels like a treat that way, so that dining out guide is fantabulous.

You deserve to cheat every now and then! Don’t worry about it. Next week is a fresh start!

You’re doing great! Too many rules all the time and you’ll end up rebelling completely. A little flexibility is what every diet needs!

I think that you have to allow yourself the room to have a cheat meal, not multiple binges or an entire day. This gives you a way to take a little taste of something that you really love, but reign it in, and go back to healthier choices.

I think chocolate covered marshmallows are a good reason to cheat. And it was Valentine’s day. Next week you can start over.
