PlateJoy – Custom Meal Plans
After taking a 3 minute quiz on our personal food style, PlateJoy customized a meal plan for my family. It offers recipes for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner too. Not everyone in my family eats the same, but that didn’t matter. PlateJoy is able to share unique menu ideas for individuals with all types of diets including low carb, gluten-free, vegetarian, etc. All recipes will even fit your unique time constraints, like under 30 minutes, etc. – which makes feeding your family so much easier!
PlateJoy not only offers delicious and healthy food recipes, but they also provide a printable shopping list based on your meals. Their cost-reducing technology also uses a special algorithm to limit waste reduction by selecting meals with similar ingredients for that week’s meal plan. Pretty genius right? High-five for saving money! After trying each meal, you can rate it. If you give it 5 stars it will save as a favorite in your recipes. You can also search for a specific recipe or ingredient by clicking meal queue.

Speaking of the slow cooker Beef Brisket….here it is below. It turned out so good! The whole family enjoyed it, and we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. I am so thankful to have stumbled upon PlateJoy. Now grocery shopping and cooking have become a whole lot simpler.
Slow Cooker Beef Brisket Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 lb beef brisket
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- a pinch of salt and pepper
- Approximately 1 lb of potatoes, diced
- 2 cups thinly sliced onions
- 1 cup of chopped, peeled carrots
- 5 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 can of diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup beef flavored broth
Directions:
- Generously spray 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Rub brisket with 1 tablespoon of the vegetable oil, and season with salt and pepper. Place in slow cooker.
- Add broth, vegetables, diced tomatoes, and garlic to slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on Low heat setting 7 to 8 hours or until brisket is very tender.

This is such a great resource for our busy family! This is going to save a lot of time and energy in our house. We have 3 kids in various activities with 3 different tastes. I like that PlateJoy will also help us cut down on food waste. I hate throwing away food because we didn’t have time to cook it during the week.

What a great resource. We get in food ruts pretty easily, so having a meal plan laid out would be awesome. Hopefully that brisket ends up in my plan. Looks yummy!
