Pretty Woman the Musical is a stage adaptation of the beloved 1990 romantic comedy movie of the same name. The musical stays true to the film’s plotline and follows the story of a wealthy businessman, Edward Lewis, who hires a beautiful prostitute, Vivian Ward, to accompany him to business and social events. As they spend more time together, they develop feelings for each other, but their different social backgrounds threaten to keep them apart.

Pretty Woman The Musical Review
The cast of “Pretty Woman: The Musical” is led by Jessie Davidson as Vivian, who brings a powerful voice and a charming presence to the role. As Edward, Adam Pascal is suave and debonair, and the chemistry between him and Davidson is electric. Keyonna Knight is quite entertaining as Kit, Vivian’s sassy and streetwise friend, and Travis Ward-Osborne is hilarious as Mr. Thompson, the hotel manager who is taken with Vivian.
Pretty Woman is a timeless classic film and I was so excited to see it turned into a Broadway performance! The musical boasts a catchy score by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance and a soundtrack that adds to the story’s charm and energy. Overall, Pretty Woman The Musical is a fun and entertaining show that will delight fans of the original movie and Broadway aficionados alike.

My mother-in-law and I thoroughly enjoyed the Broadway musical. They did a wonderful job of keeping particular scenes classy, and there were only two swear words throughout the performance. I recommend the musical for teens and up.
