Ahi Tuna Salad Recipe
The great thing about salad recipes is you can eliminate an ingredient you don’t care for without compromising flavor. Here’s what we include in our Ahi Tuna salad recipe.

Ingredients:
- Ahi tuna steaks
- olive oil
- Montreal steak seasoning
- avocado, peeled, pitted, and diced
- baby spinach or mixed greens
- romaine lettuce chopped
- organic blueberries
- organic strawberries diced
- blackberries
- Gorgonzola or blue cheese crumbles
- walnuts chopped
- red onion diced
- vinaigrette
Vinaigrette Ingredients:
- olive oil
- apple cider vinegar
- healthy seed mix chia, flax & hemp seeds
- honey
- kosher salt
- ground black pepper

Directions:
- Begin by making the vinaigrette: In a small bowl add all vinaigrette ingredients together, vigorously whisking. Set aside.
- Next, make the Ahi tuna: Pat dry the tuna steaks and place on a plate, drizzle olive oil and sprinkle lightly with Montreal steak seasoning. Flip over repeat on other side.
- In a nonstick pan drizzle with olive oil, and heat on high heat. Once pan is hot, add tuna and sear 1 minute, flip then sear 1 more minute. Remove tuna from pan and set aside.
- In a large salad or mixing bowl, add romaine lettuce, spinach, avocado, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, walnuts, red onion, gorgonzola cheese, and vinaigrette. Toss all ingredients together until combined.
- Slice tuna against the grain and serve on top of the salad. Enjoy!
Tip: This salad goes great with a slice of hearty sourdough bread.

2- 4 oz ahi tuna steaks, olive oi, Montreal steak seasoning, 1/2 avocado, peeled, pitted, and diced, 3 cups baby spinach or mixed greens, 1 head Romain lettuce, chopped, 3/4 cup fresh organic blueberries, 1/2 cup organic strawberries, diced, 1/2 cup blackberries, 1/4 Gorgonzola or blue cheese crumbles, 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped, half a red onion, diced, vinaigrette
Vinaigrette Ingredients: 3 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp healthy seed mix chia, flax & hemp seeds, 1 tbsp honey, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, 1/3 tsp ground black pepper
