Shopping Back to School at Disney Springs Stores
Make the school year extra magical! With more than 175 venues, Disney Springs offers an abundance of shopping and dining experiences. The boys and I spent the day shopping for back to school, and we’re sharing some of our favorite finds with all of you!
Load “UP” at UNIQLO
This high-quality boutique is located in the Disney Springs town center, and offers a variety of affordably priced Disney gear for the entire family. The boys picked up multiple Disney and Marvel shirts for a total of $50! J is sporting one of the shirts in the picture above.
UNIQLO is definitely the store to stock up on Disney gear in an inexpensive way. You can’t go wrong with $10 Disney tees! I’ve also purchased several women’s t-shirts for past press events and receive a lot of compliments on them.
Get Tren-D
One of my favorite stops for trendy apparel and accessories is at Tren-D in the marketplace. The store has super-stylish items for women and teens featuring Mickey, Minnie and other beloved Disney characters. I scored this Churros and Ice Cream tee there for roughly $30.
Sports Fan’s Paradise
Under Armour offers guests a cutting-edge atmosphere with this 2 level store for men, women, and kids. Find athletic apparel, shoes and accessories – many inspired by athletes, like Steph Curry. L is sporting a pair of his shorts below, along with a Captain America Under Armour shirt. Head upstairs for a special interactive skills game that all sports fans will love too!
P.S. I’m not a fan of their online ordering or customer service – we’ve had a few issues, but in-store we had a good experience.
Delicious Bites
All of that shopping will make you work up an appetite – thankfully Disney Springs offers a variety of delicious restaurant choices. Find everything from quick dining options, like D-Luxe Burger (it’s one of our favorites!) located in the Town Center, or the Disney Food Trucks at the opposite end on the West Side – and plenty of other options in between.
If you’re looking for a sit down restaurant, Disney Springs offers plenty of choices like Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin‘ with farm-to-fork cuisine that’s finger lickin’ good. Chef Art’s is located in The Landing. The Polite Pig is their newest addition to the cuisine options with modern BBQ. It’s located in the Town Center area. If you’re on the opposite end of the shopping area, Splitsville is the perfect place to settle in for a variety of American food and great music too. They also have plenty of bowling lanes for even more fun.
Feed that Sweet Tooth
Two of our favorite places to stop for a treat are Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop and Sprinkles Bakery. Both have divine dessert options that everyone is sure to love! If you’re in a hurry, Sprinkles even offers an outside cupcake ATM – yes seriously!
More Disney Springs Stores
World of Disney is a 12 room store with all of your Disney favorites for the entire family. Find everything from apparel to trading pins and toys. Right now World of Disney, located in the marketplace is stocked with school supplies like pencils, notebooks, and tablet cases in your child’s favorite Disney characters.
American Threads, located in the town center is an affordable boutique for women and teens with trendsetting styles. I scored a cozy tee for roughly $30 there.
Create customized looks at Design a Tee by Hanes. They have a store completely dedicated to inspiring guests to show their Disney side. Seriously, who doesn’t want a one-of-a-kind tee?!
Other Disney Springs stores to visit for back to school include Levi’s (for apparel), Kipling (for backpacks & lunch boxes), Stance (for specialty socks), and Melissa Shoes.
We had so much fun shopping back to school at Disney Springs! If you’re looking for Disney-inspired gear, be sure to visit their site for more details.
