My 13-year-old son joined me at the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie Screening and wanted to share his thoughts below.

Lucas’ take: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is an exhilarating movie with great action and incredible comedic references. The movie is not just a masterpiece for the fans with its large amount of references and Easter eggs but also an accurate representation of the characters.

It’s a masterpiece for general audiences as well with its amazing action and incredible comedy mainly from the amazing actor Jim Carrey also known as Doctor Eggman or Dr. Ivo Robotnik, who also plays his grandfather Dr. Gerald Robotnik. The movie follows the story of Sonic Adventure 2 but since a lot of characters have not been introduced yet it had to change the story quite a bit. One of the main changes is Shadows Backstory and that Dr. Gerald Robonik is still alive.

I am a part of the Sonic Fandom and I love the franchise! I am happy with Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and its amazing fan service. But overall the fans new and old will love the movie and anyone watching will enjoy it too.
