Using the Sonicare App

You are then prompted to take a mini questionnaire to find out exactly where your trouble spots are, and how you can get better results. Select between 3 different brushing modes: Clean, Whitening and Deep Clean. You can also select goals (located at the bottom blue bar) to work towards, like a whiter smile.

Now you’re ready to starting brushing! The app highlights the area where you should begin brushing, and once you turn on the toothbrush, the timer begins to countdown. As you guide the Flexcare Platinum over your teeth and gums, the app whitens the teeth in the highlighted area. The toothbrush beeps and the app highlights the next area to brush. You will continue doing this until your entire mouth is brushed.

Once your two minutes of brush time are up, the app provides you instant results on a 3D map. Yellow spots indicate locations in your mouth that needed longer cleaning time. It will also let you know if you’re brushing too hard. The app allows you to move the map around to see all areas of your teeth. It’s pretty neat!

Each time you brush, the Sonicare app will keep track of your results – providing you personalized feedback (in the Progress section of the blue bar). That way you can master your own oral care! Under the Tools section, you can select focus areas, add dentist appointment information, and shop for Sonicare products too.
