Living in the same time period as Oprah has been a wonderful gift for so many, including myself. Each day I would come home from school and immediately turn on the Oprah Winfrey show. Her inspiring words resonated with me and helped me become the woman I am today. It’s important for me to live my best life – which I truly believe I am doing – and I am so incredibly honored to announce that I have been selected as an O Mag Insider!

I’m an O Mag Insider
Launched in 2017, the O Mag Insiders are O’s on-the-ground ambassadors, hand-selected from thousands of applications and representing the unmatched diversity of O’s readers across all ages, ethnicities, and the country.
You guys, they only selected 12 new ambassadors for 2020, so I am beyond elated to be recognized among other beautiful, talented women from around the country. It’s such a great validation that I’m doing the right thing. So what exactly is an O Magazine Insider? We are a community of ambassadors who inspire one another and others to live their best life. Additionally, we’ll have amazing opportunities to partner with O, The Oprah Magazine, try new products (like Oprah’s Favorite Things) and attend special O events! Past O Mag Insiders have cruised with Oprah and Gayle, been featured in the magazine, and much more!
Last year, I fulfilled one of my greatest dreams. I was invited to attend the Wrinkle in Time premiere where I met Oprah, interviewed her for her role in the film, and even spent a few moments chatting with her at the premiere after party. She squeezed my hand while I reverted back to a giddy child thrilled with excitement. It was a career-high for me, and now to be aligned with O Magazine is just icing on the cake!
