Spicy Beef Chili Recipe
This spicy beef chili recipe – along with breadsticks – can be on the table in an hour! Here’s how to make this tasty recipe.

Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 sweet onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 orange bell pepper diced
- 1 jalapeño minced
- 4oz crimini mushrooms diced
- 1-2 tbsp chipotle chili powder (2 tbsp if you like heat)
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano (no salt added)
- 4 (15.5 oz) cans chili beans with chili pepper, onions, and garlic in zesty tomato sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese (optional, cuts back on the heat)
Directions:
- In a large pot, over medium heat, cook ground beef, when ground beef still has some pink add onions, bell pepper, mushrooms, jalapeño and garlic. Continue cooking until beef is brown and veggies are tender (about 5 minutes).
- Stir in all the seasonings, reduce heat to medium-low, cover with lid and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add beans and diced tomatoes, stirring thoroughly to combine. Cover and let simmer for another 15 minutes. If you are adding cream cheese add now, let the cream cheese soften for about 10 minutes, then stir.
- Simmer on low for 15 minutes, then serve.
- Serve with a side of sour cream, shredded cheese, and fresh sliced avocado. Enjoy!

Garlic Parmesan Breadsticks Recipe
This recipe calls for no self-rising flour or yeast. It’s an easy peasy breadsticks recipe using ingredients you have on hand!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Combine dry ingredients and slowly add milk, mix until you form a soft dough, you may not use all the milk.
- Knead gently 4 or 5 times on a floured surface.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out into a rectangle and cut into 12 sticks. You can braid 2 sticks together or single breadsticks.
- Melt 2 1/2 – 3 tablespoons, then pour the melted butter into a large baking dish. Put breadsticks on top of melted butter. Once all breadsticks are in dish, melt remaining butter and brush it over breadsticks.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, serve immediately.
