I was super excited to get an invitation from Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa for a “me” day at their Reflections Spa-Salon. I didn’t care if I had to move mountains, I was going to be there! It’s very rare that I take time for myself and ask anyone to watch my kids other than my husband so this was a real treat.
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa boasts sprawling one, two, three and four bedroom suits with full kitchens, private balconies, and oversized Jacuzzi tubs. The resort is conveniently located just 5 miles from Walt Disney World, 10 miles from SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica and just 12 miles from Universal Studios.
The main entrance to the resort is inviting including a circular drive with a large fountain in the center. They are also walking distance to Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores that include more than 50 stores like Nike, Gap, Old Navy and more.
This family friendly resort dons a spectacular, zero-entry pirate themed pool with water slide.
Their on-site salon and spa is a sanctuary bathed in oyster hues concealing 10 treatment rooms, one hydrotherapy tub room, sauna room, private relaxation rooms, two deluxe couples treatment rooms, as well as salon services.
Once I entered the main building and took the elevators to the sixth floor, I immediately arrived at an oasis. Reflections Spa-Salon encompasses the entire sixth floor offering a haven of serenity to help guests relax, restore and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. Once I checked-in for my spa service, I was escorted to a large changing room with lockers, showers, and sauna room to change into an ultra smooth microfiber lined robe and soft slippers. From there, relaxation seekers are guided to a beautifully designed waiting area where fruit infused water, fresh cookies and warm coffee await.
I was greeted by Colleen who took me to my treatment room for a Tropical Island Massage. This ultra luxurious full body massage captures the feel and smells of the island offering your choice between three scented oils; mango, star fruit and coconut. Surrender your senses and release all tensions as Reflections Spa-Salon skilled massage therapists create a massage designed just for your needs. The Tropical Island Massage is offered in a 50 minute or 80 minute option. Colleen did a wonderful job of focusing on my areas with tension and helping me to unwind.
Next up was a Hydrating Island Bath, one of Reflections signature treatments! Pure coconut milk from Fiji will hydrate, soothe and relax your body and mind as you drift on an ocean of bliss. Umm I don’t recall the last time I enjoyed a relaxing bath since having our first son over four years ago. I can’t even use the restroom let alone enjoy a bath without company! The Hydrating Island bath treatment is 30 minutes long and offers you complete peace and quiet in a tub made for two with jets, candles and more. You come out feeling silky smooth afterwards too!
My last treatment for the spa day was a Classic Pedicure with Krista. Relax as your nails are soaked and your feet are exfoliated followed by a polish of your choice. Reflections Spa-Salon uses OPI nail polish and offers many colors to choose from. Krista did a fabulous job on my overlooked feet and toes. My nail polish was still chip free after two weeks!!
Overall I had a wonderful experience at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa and can not wait to return. The best part is, you don’t have to be a guest of the hotel to enjoy Reflections Spa-Salon. Anyone is welcome to make an appointment! I’m looking forward to trying out some of their other services like the Paradise Sugar Glow, Reflections Customized Facial and more.
Reflections Spa-Salon is located at 8113 Resort Village Drive Orlando, Florida 32821 and can be reached toll-free at 1.866.401.2699

That “me” time is so critical when you are a mommy! I love how the products all look natural and non-toxic! The pictures are great too! It sounds like a place I would love to stay!

Look at this! It’s gorgeous! It’s been awhile since we had this type of vacation, and the more I look at these pictures, the closer I am to making it happen. I don’t know if I could leave my little ones, but I think we all need “me” time. People don’t take vacations as often as they should, and this hit the spot!! The jacuzzi won me over 🙂

Looks so luxurious! I live far from this destination, but I will be certain to mention it to my sister who is a travel agent. And if and when I can stop in… it will be a must. Looks like a great time.
