The Amazing Spider-Man Movie Night #SpiderManWMT

As you all must know by now, my kids are HUGE fans of all things superhero. So when we heard The Amazing Spider-Man was coming out on DVD Nov 9th, the kids were ecstatic! In preparation for the release of the all new Spider-Man movie, we downloaded the Web-Slinger app on the iPad.

We then headed to Wal-Mart to buy the Marketside pizza and candy to munch on during the movie. We also picked up some Spider-Man merchandise including a mask and suit combo pack for just under $15! You can see my entire path to purchase on google+.

We then used the amazingly cool reality app in the store, which allows you to interact with the Spider-Man DVD and Marketside pizza (exclusive at Wal-Mart) creating a 3D world. Do you see The Lizard and Spider-Man below?

The app also offers the option to take a picture of yourself and use that image to star in your own Spider-Man comic. My 4-year-old loved this! Here are the app instructions so you can play along too!

As part of this experience, I was able to get my hands on The Amazing Spider-Man prior to its release. Our Blu-ray/Mask gift set includes an exclusive bonus disc featuring The Lizard.
