As I’ve mentioned before, my husband is an elementary school teacher. Between him and our (almost) 5-year-old son who attends Pre-k, baby boy and I have twice the amount of germs to fight. We all know that schools can be a bit of a germ fest, however The Healthy Schools Project by Kimberly-Clark Professionals is creating ways to help students and teachers fight those germs.
The program is designed to engage and educate students on building healthy habits that break the chain of germ transmission, promoting better hygiene and keeping schools and students healthier. As part of the program, the Classroom Caddy is a fun way to keep germ-killing solutions accessible and helps reinforce the development of healthy hand hygiene. The stations can be ordered by schools via their normal facilities supply distribution channels, and are now also available direct to parents and teachers through amazon.com.
My husband’s classroom received The Healthy Classroom Station, which included the following:
o Classroom Caddy
o KLEENEX® Moisturizing Foam Hand Sanitizer
o KLEENEX® Anti-Viral Facial Tissue
o SCOTT® Surface Wipes
o 1 The Healthy Schools Project Brochure
o 1 Healthy Classroom Station Flyer
o 3 Germ-awareness Clings
o 1 Hand Washing Poster
He was happy to display the healthy station in his room for all of his students to use. It keeps all of those germ-fighting items in one place, making it accessible for the kids. The tips are creative, and helpful as well.

What a great idea for teachers. And so appropriate that the hand-washing poster comes with the kit – it is probably the most valuable item!

I love this. I want to get two for my little boys’ classrooms. My 5 year old has had a never ending cold this school year, and I think it’s due to slimey 5 and 6 year olds! haha!
