What’s your go-to sandwich? Often times, as a stay at home mom my lunch is decided by the boys limited palette. Peanut butter and jelly….again? However, it’s not difficult to upgrade from a simple sandwich to something more “adult-like.” If a Bacon + Lettuce + Tomato (BLT) sandwich is one of your favorites, try adding a few slices of slow roasted turkey breast for an even more delicious bite. Toast the sandwich just a bit and boy is it yum-o! This Turkey BLT Croissant makes a great (and easy) option for lunch or dinner.
Turkey BLT Croissant:
What you’ll need:
- Fresh baked croissants (homemade or store bakery)
- Light mayonnaise
- Oscar Meyer Selects Natural slow roasted turkey breast
- 1 bacon slice
- 1 slice cheddar cheese (or variety of your choice)
- 2 tomato slices
- Baby kale lettuce
- and any extra veggies of your choosing!
Directions:
Begin by cooking your bacon slice(s) as directed on packaging. Halve the croissant and bake directly on the toaster oven rack for 4 minutes at 300 degrees. Next, build your sandwich. Add light mayo, top with cheese, Oscar Meyer Selects Natural Turkey slices, tomatoes, bacon and baby kale leaves. Place the other half of the croissant on top and bake for an additional 3 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Remove from the oven, and enjoy! This recipe is for one serving.
Sooo tasty! If you’re looking to add an extra bite to your everyday lunch options and want to keep a health-focused diet, I definitely recommend Oscar Meyer Selects Natural sandwich meats. With no artificial ingredients and real quality taste, you can rely on Oscar Mayer Selects Natural to be one thing that’s not too good to be true.
Oscar Mayer Selects Natural is available in five flavorful varieties including Slow Roasted Turkey, Applewood Smoked Turkey, Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken, Applewood Smoked Ham and Slow Roasted Roast Beef. With Oscar Mayer Selects Natural, you don’t need to give up the good stuff to enjoy the quality cold cuts your family deserves. And don’t forget a healthy side for your tasty sandwich like blueberries!
Wouldn’t you know it – I had two little taste testers join me in the kitchen just as I took my first bite. 😉

Actually, I started a low carb diet today so, for a while, my favorite way will be with lettuce as the bread! LOL This sandwich you made is what I will dream about.
