Upscale Hotel & Convention Center - Caribe Royale Orlando

Growing up in Orlando has offered me the luxury of endless entertainment opportunities. After my (now) husband and I dated long distance for a year, I convinced him that Orlando was the place we should raise a family together. Our family of four enjoys exploring new areas of this ever-growing city. We recently visited the Caribe Royale Orlando for a weekend staycation, check out our review below.

Upscale Hotel & Convention Center – Caribe Royale Orlando

Located just minutes from the Walt Disney World® Resort, this Trip Advisor award-winning upscale hotel has just debuted fully renovated suites, now open for leisure and business guests!

Caribe Royale Orlando one and two-bedroom suite accommodations feature a private bedroom and separate living area, ergonomically designed workspace, and a large bathroom. The two-bedroom suites include a soaker tub while the one-bedroom includes a large walk-in shower with luxury details like a shave bar for an easier way for women to shave in the shower.

The suites also include two 55″ TVs – one in the bedroom and one in the living space. Additionally, they include a spacious mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave.

While the 125 million dollar renovation focused on the suites and convention center, the GM did share with us that the resort has plans to revamp other areas including adding a Bacardi rum bar in the main lobby, Starbucks at the gift shop, and the pool furniture will also be updated. All of these are expected to be completed within the next year.

During our time at the resort, my family enjoyed the main swimming pool with a waterfall and slide for the kids. We also spent time at the fishing dock (located near the convention area) for catch and release fishing. In total, they caught 7 fish! There’s also a gaming area behind Calypso’s Pool Bar & Grill with a pool table, ping pong, and more.

In addition to the fabulous sleeping accommodations and amenities, Caribe Royale Orlando has 6 on-site food and beverage outlets, including The Venetian Chop House, recipient of the prestigious AAA 4-Diamond rating and winner of Orlando Magazine’s 2020 Readers Choice awards in four categories!

We enjoyed a few catered breakfast and dinner options while there, but also visited Calypso’s for lunch by the pool. I loved their variety of items on the menu including fish tacos, burgers, smoothies, cocktails, and more.

I can’t end our review without mentioning the amazing staff at Caribe Royale Orlando. Every single person from housekeeping to management was friendly and pleasant. They had genuine care for their guests and seemed to enjoy their jobs which is so important! It was definitely top-notch customer service all around.

Since Caribe Royale Orlando is conveniently located off 535 and just minutes from Disney theme parks, you can catch a shuttle from the resort to Disney Springs or the Disney transportation center.
