On Monday my 6-year-old started the 2nd grade at a new school! Yes – you read that right. If you’re curious, read the full scoop on why he skipped a grade. He couldn’t be more excited for school to begin, but mommy was a nervous wreck. I sure love having him around! However, I’m very proud of my big boy. 🙂
Tuesday we took a walk around our new neighborhood. I love doing this as a family. L was holding my hand for a while then chose to grab brothers. I thought that was super-sweet and snapped a pic. Precious memories!
Thursday I surprised the boys with a special frozen yogurt stop to cool down. These last days of summer have been well over 100 degrees.
And of course we have another busy weekend ahead! How was your week? Did your kids start back to school yet?

I have one of those smarty pants here also. He ended up skipping half of 1st grade and all of 2nd. He is 8 and halfway done with 4th grade. I fear he is going to graduate at 15 if he doesn’t slow down.

That is awesome Rachel! Keep encouraging him 🙂
