I’m a traditional gal. I love to go home for the holidays and get that down-home cooking that I grew up tasting. One of my favorite dishes that is always at the dessert table is my Granny Anne’s Lemon Cake. I honestly can’t remember a holiday meal without it! Isn’t dessert the best part of the meal anyway? 😉
This was my first time making her Lemon Cake recipe and I sure hope I made her proud.

This is the EXACT same recipe, down to the adding of the eggs one at a time, that I have that my great grandmother has passed down to my grandma and so on. Like you, it has always been the family favorite and has been at all the holiday events and special occasions. I wonder where this recipe originated!?
